My plea: I plead guilty to the crime of a double portion. Yes, it was only an extra 80 calories of pretzel chips, but an offense is an offense.
Today, I was extremely good. I had to stretch to think of something that I did wrong. I had a light breakfast and trail mix for a morning snack (with a little chocolate for short term energy and nuts for long term energy).
My boyfriend stopped by my job for lunch and brought me a very healthy Subway sandwich with turkey breast and loads of veggies on wheat bread, and he even brought Cranberry juice to go with.
I had two portions of pretzel chips, but I had kind of a light day. I think it is justifiable, especially because I plan to have a salad for dinner.
I did a few squats and knee lifts after my snack, not enough to burn the extra portion, but enough to stretch out my sore legs after a long day on my feet.
Today, I will take my sentence and cut an extra few calories by continuing to walk right past the chocolate cookies I am craving so much. I was going to enjoy some for dessert, but I will just have to wait until tomorrow.
